Following the introduction of martial law, information on volumes of physical transmission of natural gas through the Ukrainian GTS connection points has been designated as information with restricted access. Therefore, since mid-February 2022, the data do not include figures for Ukraine.

Since Ukrenergo is responsible for the operation, dispatch, maintenance and development of the transmission system, it is responsible for compensating for the technological losses of the transmission of electricity. For this purpose, Ukrenergo purchases electricity, most of which is purchased in the day-ahead market (DAM) (60-85%), less under bilateral contracts (10-40%) and a small part in the intraday market (IDM) (1-3%). In addition to the amount of electricity purchased to compensate for technological losses, the file contains data on the cost of the purchased resource.

Information on the technological electricity losses in the transmission system, which include the losses of energy caused by electromagnetic processes in the conductive parts of the electrical network during its transmission, as well as climatic losses and energy losses in isolation of network elements. Ukrenergo has the right to purchase electricity under bilateral contracts to compensate for the technological losses of electricity transmission by electric networks, respectively, other than volumes which for this purpose are required to be purchased in the day-ahead market (DAM).
